Joel Cross is a
singer/songwriter and extraordinary human being!
Joel is from a large family,
raised in New Orleans and Texas and now lives in NYC. In addition
to writing his own songs, Joel has collaborated with Indie
Arie in writing music, in fact their recent album was nominated
for a Grammy Award.
Our conversation explores music,
spirituality and social justice. Joel is responsible for my
endearing nickname “Mama A”. Joel composed, sang and played
guitar on my beautiful podcast theme song, “Shine Your
Light”.
